Other Ministries at Groesbeck Church
Change For Missions – We collect the change each Sunday from the offering plates and give to different ministries in the Greater Cincinnati area. Thank you for continuing your selfless support of all the ministries in the Greater Cincinnati area with your insignificant loose change that makes a world of difference in the lives of thousands of the people you serve.
Kairos Prison Ministry – This is a 3 day retreat housed in Ohio prisons similar to an Emmaus Walk. Besides being on a team that ministers in the prison, cookie donation, money, prayers and posters are needed on every walk.
KIA (Kindness in Action) – We are an outreach ministry that provides opportunities for the congregation to interact with the community. We host block parties in the summer, wrap presents for Nate’s Toy Box in the winter and help with meals during various events.
State Avenue UMC Visits – We assist with this small church’s Sunday school program every 3rd Sunday of the month, a family night every 4th Thursday of the month and a women’s bible study on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. Donations of time and Thursday evening meals are welcome.
Whiz Kids Tutoring – This tutoring initiative founded by City Gospel Mission pairs one student to one tutor for a literacy-based tutoring program. Tutors meet once a week with a student from Colerain Elementary.
