It’s time to talk ROADTRIP!!!!

 Sunday, July 7, 2013 - 4:00pm to Friday, July 12, 2013 - 5:00pm

This year we will be taking not only the Club 456 kids – but anyone up through the 12th grade is welcome to attend!!!

Wondering what to do after the Fourth of July has come and gone? Camp Wesley has so much more to offer than some stinky old fireworks (which are not allowed at camp, by the way). From whipping down our slick Slip n' Slide, to conquering the challenge course, to learning how God wants us to live, you will experience a lifetime of activities that will have you smiling ear to ear. Did I mention the epic canoe ride down the Mad River? Camp Wesley is the place to be.

Parents are welcome to attend as volunteer staff, please see Dianna to find out more details.

At Camp Wesley in west central Ohio, campers will experience the wonder and beauty of God’s creation. Camp Wesley boasts over 225 acres of gently rolling grounds, including a spectacular 19-acre lake, mixed evergreen and hardwood forests and grasslands. Owned by the people of The United Methodist Church in the West Ohio Conference, the land is dedicated as a sacred space for playing, learning and living together in Christian community.

Accommodations for campers may include one of our new yurts, a renovated summer cabin, or our main lodge. Of course, cabin groups always have the option of camping out under the stars

While at Camp Wesley, campers of all ages will experience God’s amazing creation, and learn how God loves us with awesome power.  They’ll take part in a wide range of outdoor activities, including swimming in the pool, canoeing in the lake, team games, archery, challenge course or the 120-foot water slide! In addition, campers may wish to test their nerves at the lake on the 30-foot "blob."

Other activities may include:

Age appropriate programming is designed for campers to outwardly explore the spaces of Camp Wesley as well as inwardly explore their own creativity, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Immersion in these activities, as well as vibrant worship and relevant Bible study, is what makes camp a positive, character-building experience.

It is the hope and prayer of our staff that each camper will have the experience of a lifetime and return home at the end of a busy week having grown in confidence and with an understanding of God’s purpose for their lives.

Volunteer staff is needed - if you feel God calling you to be a part of this event - please contact Dianna.
