VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Registration volunteers: 2:30-3:30pm to check in students who come to the programs.
Computer Room volunteers: 2:30-4:45pm to monitoring computer use & helping students with questions.
Youth Center volunteers: 2:30-4:00pm will supervise students who are hanging out in the youth center during activity time.
Snack Bar volunteers: 2:30-4:00pm will be responsible for operating a snack bar in the youth center.
Activities volunteers: 2:30-4:00pm will supervise the fun activities for the day, outdoor events ie. Basketball, volleyball, corn hole, etc.
Tutors: 2:30-4:45pm will be able to work with students on homework. Most needed; Math, (Algebra & Geometry) and English. Also Science & History.
Study Hall volunteers: 3:45-5:00pm will supervise students while they are working on their homework. You do not need to be a tutor to do this, just willing to supervise a room of students.
Specific Skill volunteers: Times to be determined. For those of you who have a specific skill or activity you’d like to share. Example; Can organize a hip hop or step dance team, Double Dutch, garage bands, life skills or college searches/applications. Food Prep volunteers: 2:00-4:00pm & 3:00-6:30pm Preparing and/or grilling food for the students after the programs and before they leave for home.
Meal Time Supervisors & Clean-up Crew: 4:30-6:00pm will be responsible for student supervision during dinner. Help with clean up, no cooking or serving
Security: 3:00-6:30pm to oversee the safety of equipment and areas to be used as well as to lock and secure the areas upon departure for the day.
